A common brief for Old School Architects is to reconfigure homes that have been extended multiple times prior to being sold. The new owners of this property contacted us to review the layout as whole areas were reduced to corridor spaces that you pass through to reach other rooms.

Our design improved the thermal performance of the house with upgraded glazing throughout. We created a large social open kitchen dining room with new doors to provide light, views and access to the rear garden.

A new master bedroom was added to the first floor together with a larger family bathroom in the reconfigured roof design. New skylights in the roof provide natural light to the stairs and landing.
