Glebe Farm

Our brief was to build two homes on an unused agricultural plot with very restrictive covenants. Working closely with East Lindsey District Council we proposed using the existing barn as part of one home and building a second home in the same style.

The bespoke design takes full advantage of views, access and provision of natural light. Oversize rooflights with double height voids below and glazing at the end of axis routes maximise natural light and views of the external landscape.

The use of renewable energy was a key driver on the scheme and solar photo voltaic panels are built into the roof providing power for air source heat pumps, a low-carbon heat source.

Glebe Farm was selected by RIBA as the region’s best ‘Exemplar Housing’ in 2021 with a specific focus on innovation in sustainable design.
