To add to their family home, the client’s brief was to provide guest accommodation opportunities and a space to socialise for themselves and their children.

Our concept works include the conversion of two existing barns each to provide distinct types of accommodation, an extension to the existing house and construction of a new pool house.

A holistic approach was taken to the whole site, landscaping designs and consultants focusing on the journeys between buildings and visual connections.

The design sensitively responds to the site and the character of existing buildings. The use of a considered material palette across the new construction provides a homogeneous scheme.
